Lullaby is a children’s story of loss and hope
Children may not understand what war is, but they hear the news. This book tells the journey a little girl goes through when her country is invaded, her father goes away, and life transforms itself. She finds ways of coping with the harsh reality, as kids often do.

About the Illustrator
Polina Pluslem
Polina was born in Myrne, Kherson region of Ukraine. Since she studied and worked in Kyiv at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, she was parted from her relatives. Now, like many Ukrainians, she’s waiting for the end of the war to reunite with her family. She illustrates children’s books with the belief that even in wartime kids should not be deprived of their childhood.
